Chicken & Dumpling Noodles

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pkg frozen chicken breasts boneless (5-7 lb)
  2. 1 pkg dumpling noodles
  3. 1-2 cans chicken broth
  4. 1 can cream of chicken soup
  5. 1 stick butter

 

Instructions:

  1. Thaw chicken – place in pot
  2. Cover chicken w/ water & 1 can broth
  3. Cook until done – remove chicken
  4. DO NOT DISCARD WATER!
  5. Boil noodles in water until done.
  6. Shred chicken and place in pot w/ noodles.
  7. Add butter and can of cream of chicken soup.
  8. Boil until thickness desired.
  9. Add can of broth if desired or flour to make thicker.

Taco Soup (crock pot)

Makes 4-6  servings

 

Ingredients:

1.      1 lb lean ground beef or ground turkey

2.      3 cans beans:  pinto, kidney, chili (can also use gnocchi)

3.      1 can corn

4.      1 pkg Hidden Valley Ranch Mix

5.      1 sm can chopped green chilies

6.      1 med onion

7.      2 cans diced tomatoes

8.      1 can water

9.      1 pkg Old El Paso taco seasoning mix

10.  1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

11.  optional sharp cheddar cheese and tortilla chips

 

Instructions:

1.      Brown meat & chopped onion & drain

2.      Add all remaining ingredients to the crock pot

3.      Let it cook all day on low

 

This soup is great served with shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top when dished out, served with tortilla chips.

Chicken Soup

From:  ???

 

Ingredients:

1.      2 (26 oz) cartons of Swanson’s chicken stock

2.      Chopped onion

3.      1 C orzo or acini di Pepe

4.      Fresh parsley – chopped

5.      1-2 stalks celery – sliced

6.      Baby carrots – sliced

7.      2 lg cans Swanson’s chicken breast – drained

 

Instructions:

1.      Add pasta to chicken stock & cook a few minutes.

2.      Add vegetables.

3.      Cook about 30  min or until vegs are tender.

4.      Add chicken.

Bluejacket PTA Steak Soup

Ingredients:

1.      1 stick margarine

2.      1 C flour

3.      4 C water

4.      32 oz beef broth

5.      1 lb hamburger

6.      16 oz pkg frozen mixed vegs

7.      1 lg can canned tomatoes (undrained)

8.      4 T beef base granules

9.      1 t black pepper

10.  Onion/garlic powders to taste

11.  Salt to taste

 

Instructions:

1.      In lg pot melt margarine and whisk in flour to make a smooth paste.

2.      Stir in water and container of beef broth.

3.      While mixture is heating, saute hamburger and drain well.

4.      Add burger to soup base.

5.      Add mixed vegs, canned tomatoes, beef granules and pepper.

6.      Add onion/garlic powders and salt to taste.

7.      Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer.

8.      Continue cooking until vegs are tender.
